Final Stretch! One Week Left!

One Week to go!!!

I seriously can't thank you all enough! The past 23 days has simply blown by and I am astounded by how much support everyone has shown for me! I could not accomplish this without you all. In fact, I accomplished more than I set out to do in the beginning!

When this Kickstarter started, I was only going to do the Book and nothing but the book. It was only going to be the PDF, VTT version and the printed book. But we blew through all the initial stretch goals I had in literally the first few days, so I put my thinking cap on and started to see what else I could make happen with this thing.  

So I added a card deck. Then we added some pins and stickers and bookmarks. Then all of those things got unlocked by the halfway point! So thenI was like... What else can I add? I'll do some STL Files for 3d printing. I got in touch with a couple of sculptors and got some quotes and so far we have unlocked half of the models I want to get made!

But that brought on a couple of questions. I have had several people comment and direct message me "What about the folks without 3d printers?" 

New Week - New Yier

So I decided to make some new tiers. The new tiers are for all of the Minis that we get made (which will be 20 if they all unlock, which I am thinking they will). Those tiers are there for those who want them, I know they are expensive, but it is a lot of minis. I paired them with the deluxe book, too so they get all the things. It's $125 through that tier which breaks down to be about $6.25 per mini which is a pretty good deal honestly. We are even offering to paint them (my wife and I) if you want, but that will be time consuming and we are asking a fair amount for that - right at $12.50 per mini. 

Of course, these will all be available on Backerkit as both the bundle (painted and unpainted) and each one will be there for individual prints - so if you don't want the full thing, don't sweat it, we will have a way to get you what you want. The Deluxe Tier will be the best deal overall, but the individual a la cart orders will still be about the same (we are thinking $7.50 for mediums, $12 for large and $20 for Huge models). 

All the Poster Maps

Last but not least we added the God Mode tier that will get all of the minis hand-painted by us, the deluxe book, the card decks, the swag, your choice of VTT license, AND all of the Maps we make for this book will be printed on posters for you. In each Dungeon we are making both an entrance/exterior, and the actual Dungeon. So that will be 30+ maps (Mega Dungeon of Doom will likely have multiple maps as well - size pending, but it's a "Mega Dungeon" soooooo). This will break down to be about $15-16 per poster map if you get them all. Again we will have them in the Backerkit as Add-Ons in the post campaign as well, and if you don't want the entrances, just the Dungeons, that is totally understandable! 

Furthermore - everyone who backs this Kickstarter will get a Promo-Code for my website so if you ever want any of these maps in the future, you will get them at the same price you would have though this Kickstarter.

Project I Love!

Beyond that, I wanted to share a project I found that I thought was really neat! I actually backed it today!

This project features beautifully designed character sheets for 5e to add a new layer of immersion to your campaign! Each of these artistic character sheets represents a different character class from the PHB and more. Each sheet is digital and form fill-able for use on your phone, laptop, tablet or PC, or you can print them off for use if playing in person.

Although each sheet is themed around a different class, they all have the same information, so you can use them interchangeably if you prefer the look of one sheet over another!

More STL Files are being Unlocked!

We have unlocked HALF of the STLs! Let's keep going!

Another week has passed and we have blown through half of the STL Stretch Goals! Hopefully, at this rate, we will unlock them all!

STL Files for 3d Printing!!!

ALL Card Decks Now Unlocked!

Thank you all so much for your amazing support! I am still processing that all of my initial Stretch Goals have been unlocked this early in the campaign! 

These Card Decks will be featuring all of the Traps, Puzzles, Creatures, & Items from the Compendium!

• Traps. Will include Illustrations of the Schematics and the rules for each trap.
• Puzzles. Will include the Problem and Solution of each Puzzle
• Items. Will include the Illustration and Rules for each Item.
• Creatures. Will include each Monster found in the Compendium with Illustrations depicting the Monster and a short description of them that can be passed out to the Players for visual and descriptive purposes only! *These cards will not contain statblocks or any spoilers!

These Decks have now been added to the Deluxe Edition and a Digital Version has been unlocked for all other Tiers! Additionally, a NEW TIER has been made for the Standard Edition + Card Decks. Now that all of the Card Decks are unlocked, we have closed the original Tier for the Deluxe Book and adjusted the price accordingly for any new backers. This will not effect any of the early backers who have already signed up for the Deluxe Edition tier!

NEXT STRETCH GOAL | STL Files for 3d Printing!

Next up on the Stretch Goals, we are going to include STL Files for the bosses from the Dungeons! We have a total of 20 BBEGs and the Sub-boss Minions we would like to get models sculpted for, so we are breaking these into 4 Stretch Goals at every $5k mark.

Depending on how many get unlocked, we will send out a survey with a poll to vote on for which ones get made. If we unlock all 20, then no need for a poll. In that case we will look into getting even more STL files for some of the other creatures in the book! All BBEGs and Sub-boss Minions will be unlocked at 40k.

Beyond the BBEGs and Sub-boss Minions, we will set stretch goals for additional sculpts of other Creatures and NPCs in the book! Each 5k will add 5 more sculpts to the list.

These STL files will all be unlocked for all backers at the $50 level and above! They will also be available as Add-Ons for all Backers for just $20 no matter how many are added. 

Poster Map Printing

Since the beginning of the campaign, I have been mentioning that I am going to add Poster Maps as Add-Ons if we fund enough! We are definitely there now! We are buying a 44" Poster Printer and will be offering those as Add-Ons through Backerkit. Those are not in the Add-on section on Kicksterter yet. They will be in the Backerkit Add-ons section for the Post Campaign pledges. Additionally, everyone who backs this Kickstarter at any level will get a Promo Code for our Website that will give you a discount for the Poster Maps should you want to get them later!

There's two parts for this one! An East Wing and West Wing!

Here is the exterior, which we showed off last week, but you can see where the interiors line up!

NOTE: The East and West Wing will come on one map page! You will not have to pick up 3 posters to get this, but the Interior and Exterior will be separate posters! 

Other Merch & Swag

We were considering making our Button Pins, Bookmarks, and Stickers a Stretch Goal, but decided we just want to unlock this stuff now and get on with the STL Goals!!! Everyone getting the Deluxe Book ($100, $125, & $150 tiers) will get our Swag Merch bundle automatically and all Standard Book + Card ($80 tier) will get the Button Pin automatically. 

We are going to make all of the merch available as an Add-Ons in Backerkit as well. These will all be shipped separately from the Book & Cards.

Deck of Many Traps & Puzzles - Now Available as Add-Ons!

Deck of Many Traps & Puzzles both Available as Add-Ons!

That's right! Both of these Decks will come together now that they are both unlocked! They are already unlocked for the Deluxe Edition book, and now there is a NEW TIER for the Regular Edition book & All Card Decks! The Tier will include each Deck of cards (if and when all 4 are unlocked) for a discount! 

The Add-On for the Deck of Traps & Puzzles will just include the Traps & Puzzles for now, as those are the only two unlocked so far. If and When the Creatures & Magic Items get unlocked, I will make an Add-On specifically for those two and make a seperate Add-On for all four together (again at a discount). 

I am estimating the Traps to be the biggest portion of this Deck, and the Puzzles to be the smallest portion. The Creatures & Magic Items should be around the same size give or take, so it will make sense to have those two together and the other two together. Each Deck will be around 80-100 cards give or take (for a total of 160-200 give or take once all of them are unloocked).  The Four Decks will come in Two Tuck Boxes (Traps & Puzzles paired together and when Creatures & Items unlock those will be paired together). 

These will be available right now as Kickstarter Add-Ons and also in Backerkit in case you want to upgrade after the campaign is over. 

In Other News

I will officially be purchasing that Large Format Poster Printer I was eyeing! I didn't want to include that as a stretch goal, I just wanted to get to where I can afford it, and I think we are there now! 

That means I will be adding EACH MAP from EACH DUNGEON as an Add-On later on! I will only be offering these poster maps through Backerkit, and not as actual Kickstarter Add-Ons. The printer I am getting is a 44" so maps will be up to 44" (width - length can be as long as I want :P hahaha!)

Scavenger Hunt Has Started!

...Be on the lookout! I have started a Scavenger Hunt up! This will be an ongoing thing now, and not just in the Kickstarter! There are clues spread out, some on my Kickstarter Page,  some on my website... maybe some will be on some of the maps... who knows! You have to find the clues and follow them to figure it all out! 

There will be prizes for this! The first person who solves the first leg of this Puzzle will get something special! Additionally, EVERYONE who solves each leg of these puzzles will get some sort of reward!

Button Pins and Bookmarks!

Have you seen my Button?

Heya! I am really pushing through these Stretch Goals! So far all of the Dungeons are unlocked, and 3/4 of the cards are unlocked (well... less than $20 away from the 3rd part of the Deck, Magic Items, which could be unlocked by the time I finish typing this). At this stage, it is safe to assume that the 4th Deck of Cards will be unlocked, and Creatures will become available at some point as well! That stretch goal will unlock at 20k, so after that, what's next?

Buttons! 

I am going to put Button Pins for everyone at the $80 tier and up! That will automatically unlock at 20k with the final part of the card deck, and I am going to add more for each 1k - this includes additional Pins, Bookmarks, and Stickers! 

Here is a look at the design for the first Button that will come out!

So What Else After the Cards and the Buttons and the Bookmarks and the Stickers and and and and...

Sooooo I am now looking for more things I can pull off at higher Stretch Goals. I am searching for a 3d Sculptor to bring on right now, and pricing around for a commission price for each Monster/BBEG for EACH Dungeon. I am trying to get STL files for 3d Resin (SLA) printing for all 15 Dungeon Bosses! This will no doubt be a high price for that stretch goal if I can even get it. 

SO  in short after the 20k stretch goal is hit, and the next sheet is up for the pins, bookmarks, stickers and other schwag merch, I'll be trying to find a number for those STLs (if I can find a sculptor). I assume this will likely be a 25k stretch in it's own, so it will likely be only unlocked if this thing hits 50k or more, but I will unlock it for all tiers above the $50 level (VTT or Physical). This number mau shift depending on cost and IF I can even offer it. Potentially I may even put another up at the lofty stretch goal that sends us to the MOON at 100k for ALL New Creatures in the book too maaaaaaaybe (not monsters from the MM or OGL, just strictly unique new monsters) but again this highly depends on if I can find a Sculptor(s) and if they have that kind of capacity in the first place! 

I'll keep you all updated if that evolves into anything for sure! 

But in the meantime, I'll keep HUNTING!
