Deluxe Shipping - FVTT Codes are coming!

Greetings Humans!

We have been waiting for the Deluxe books to arrive from their printers, and they finally came this morning! Now all that is left for the physical orders is to package these up and ship them out! We are doing that in two waves. 

The first wave is going out this week (or Monday next week at the latest), and that wave will be ALL orders that got JUST the Deluxe Book or the Card Deck. 

The 2nd wave will go out soon after that, and those are combination orders of the Deluxe, Zines, Cards, Posters, and 3D-printed models. Those orders have a lot of different combos, so we are getting those packaged separately after we get the first wave out.

Foundry VTT Codes

FVTT Fulfillment is going to kick off this week as well! I have been thinking of the best way to handle this one, and I want to get some of the dungeons to you sooner than later, so I am setting up a page on my website that will have the Manifest URLs listed, and I will update that page as I add more URLs. I will send the link to the page in an email later this week and it will be a page that will be updated over the next month or two as more parts are being finished up. 

Once all 15 of the dungeons are ported over and I am finished I will send out another email with all of the codes and to announce that it is all finished. I am not sure the exact date we will be wrapped up on that, but I have contracted this portion of the conversion out,  and we are working on it as fast as we can! 

Shard Tabletop

We are also working to get the Shard Tabletop port built now as well, I am working on this conversion myself, and I am hoping it is completed around the same time as the Foundry conversion is finished!

After that, it is all done! This Kickstarter has been a wild ride, and I appreciate everyone's support and patience as I have built my first Kickstarter from top to bottom, and am near the finish line on the biggest project I have ever partaken!

Roll20 Codes being generated on Monday!

The Roll20 fulfiment codes for Tome of Dungeons are being generated on this coming MONDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is all this update is about! I am working with Lauren at Roll20 to submit and reset my allotted amount of allowed submissions on Monday (because we are putting the book out as a bundle of Add-ons so you can add them individually to your existing campaigns as needed). 

So they have a limit of 10 listings that can exist in my "drafts" at a time and a limit of 5 that can be sent to "approval" per week - so they are going to reset my "submit per week" number as they approve them on Monday.

Once that is done, and all 15 are approved, then I have to make the Bundle listing and link them all together and do one final pass on each one to make sure that there are no broken images in their "addonization" process (yes, that is their term for when it goes from my campaign page to their product page).

I will be taking the codes to a CSV and emailing them out either Tuesday or Wednesday next week!

News on Foundry VTT coming when I make the update post next week about the Roll20 ones coming out!

Other news - cards are in! I am waiting for the Deluxes to arrive and the final PHYSICAL shipments will be going out at that point!

If you pledged for a Standard Edition copy and have not gotten it yet MESSAGE ME!

I have a few (3) people who messaged me already, and I am following up with all of you right now after I hit this send button for this update!

Quick Update for June!

Hey everyone! 

Happy June! I hope you all are ready for a fantastic summer! I wanted to post a quick update to let you all know where everything is at in the final bits of Tome of Dungeons fulfillment!

Cards - Deluxe - Posters - Zines

We see that everyone has been getting their Standard Edition copies of Tome of Dungeons in the mail, so that is exciting! 

We are still waiting on the card decks to get shipped to us, and once those arrive at my office they will be shipped out to you right away! Same thing with the Deluxe book! It should be here any day now, and we will be shipping the Deluxe book with the Card Deck for all of you who picked up the Deluxe Tier.

We have all of our Zines and Posters ready to go, they are right here next to me, and we will be shipping those out too when we ship out our Deluxe and Card orders. 

I wanted to post an update to let you all know they are coming, I have gotten a bunch of messages from folks who got the standard book but not the card deck - that is because they are shipping seperate and are still on the way! 

VTT Conversion

We are soooooo freaking close to being finished with this! The Roll20 version has 14 out of 15 of the dungeons fully converted and ready to go, all that is left is the chonker, the Mega Dungeon of Doom! I am hoping to have that finished this week so I can submit that to Roll20 and get our product codes and send those to you!

Foundry version has started, we should have the first few Manifest URLs soon. I am debating how I want to handle this one, as I can put these out 1 at a time and send them to you all as they are ready, as opposed to having to wait until all of them are finished. So I think I am going to come up with a system to send something over to you all once we have the first couple ready, and we can update the list as more are finished. Of course, we will update you once they are all ready too. 

Shard conversion - we have not started this part yet, but we are going to start it up as soon as we are done with the Roll20 version! 

Thanks for the patience and the support! We are so close to the finish line! Next update should be "Its all in the mail" or "Check your email for codes!"

Digital PDFs and Maps released - Print Proofs are In!

Greetings Humans!

We're so feaking pumped to post this update! Tome of Dungeons has been over a year in the making since we started planning everything so it is really exciting to be in the final stages of it all and getting everything into your hands and onto your physical and digital bookshelves!

On Wednesday we sent out all the Digital PDFs, Maps, Tokens, STL Files, and Seventh Moon Adventures (for those who bought them as add-ons) to everyone who ordered them, so check your inboxes if you haven't already! We hope you love the digital content as much as we do. 

If you did not get an email from Backerkit with all of your digital content, reach out to us and we will get it sorted out!

The book is one giant zip file, and then we also sent you 15 more zip files, one for each dungeon! Those zips have a PDF for JUST that dungeon (so you don't have to sift through a 256 book to run just one dungeon) and all of the maps (both VTT ready and 300dpi) are in there. We also included disk tokens for everyone, including both our original creatures, as well as all of the other creatures you will need for each adventure! Big thanks and a shout out to MZ4250 for letting us use his 3d models for our reference for the tokens for the SRD creatures! If you haven't checked out MZ already, you need to! He has pretty much every monster from the official books available as STL files that you can 3d print at home!  The other tokens we made were based off of our own 3d model STLs that we made!

The STL Files came in 5 zip files as well. One for Pre-supported with bases, one with Pre-supported without bases, one with no supports with bases, and one with no supports and no bases. The 5th zip is just the bases. 

NOTE: We did not make a pre-supported version of the Notheldur or Chronos' Dragon Form with the base.  It was too large to fit on a Saturn 2 printer (which we used to test print all of the models on) with the bases on them. There is a Pre-supported version of each without its base, however, it may not fit on smaller printers. If you are using a smaller printer, you may need to cut the file down in your slicer.  If anyone needs help with that hit me up in Discord! 

VTT Edition

Now, let's talk about VTT conversions! We have already started working on the virtual tabletop conversions. The Roll20 version is expected to be the first to be fulfilled, and we are about 1/3 of the way finished with converting it! That will likely come out in late May. 

Following that, we'll be completing the FVTT and Shard versions, with an estimated completion date in June. If we have any delays on any of these, we will let you all know ASAP! 

Printed Books

Great news on the printed book front too! We've just received the proof copy of our standard edition book from DTRPG, and it looks absolutely fantastic (pictures below). We're now in the process of downloading all the addresses for the standard book orders and will be getting those printed and shipped soon. Please allow 3-6 weeks for your copy of the standard book to arrive if you ordered one.

Here is another picture of it next to a few other books for scale! This behemoth is 256 pages and dwarfs the Tales from the Yawning Portal book! We also put our Kobold Press bestiary books in here for reference. If anyone owns one of those books, you know just how massive they are! Ours is right there in between the two in size! 

Here's another sneak peak at the interior of the book! We're really happy with how everything turned out!

Deluxe Book and Card Deck

As for the deluxe book and the card deck, we're still waiting for their proof copies to come in. Once we receive and approve them, full production for printing will begin immediately! 

• For our US-based backers who ordered the just card deck or the card deck + the standard edition book, they will be shipped directly to you from the printer. 
• If you ordered the Deluxe + Deck within the US, they will be shipped together.
• For our international backers who ordered the Deluxe + Deck, they also will be shipped together once they arrive at our office.
• Zine orders are also in progress! Currently, all of the Seventh Moon Adventure zines are printed and ready to ship, and the Tome of Dungeon zines are being printed right now and will be shipped this month. If you ordered any zines and a deluxe book, they will ship together. However, if you ordered a standard book plus any zines, they will ship separately.

Please note that we have locked addresses, but if you have moved recently or are planning to move in May or June (in the event that it takes closer to 6 weeks to get these printed and shipped), make sure to reach out to us via email so we can manually adjust your shipping address ASAP! If you are planning to move in this time but don't know your next address yet, let us know!, w We can just have your copies shipped to us (for standard) and once you have your new address, we will ship it to ya! But if we don't know about a change of address, there is not much of anything we can do! Ninetoes Guide to Monster Hunting

In case anyone missed out on Ninetoes Guide to Monster Hunting, which we ran in February for Zinequest, its not to late to preorder a copy now on Backerkit! Tim just started writing on it, and once I am finished with the VTT conversions for ToD, I'll be working on the maps for it! That one will probably be coming out in late summer, and you can get it as a PDF, or a printed zine, or you can get it on your favorite VTT (not Fantasy Grounds, sorry folks, I've tried, I give up with them). 

After that zine, I will likely run another small Kickstarter some time later this year. We were talking about it, and we think we want to do some smaller scale things, similar to Tome of Dungeons, but instead of pushing all for the entire book all at one time, we are thinking of doing one dungeon at a time as mini-kickstarters for digital and zine editions and then once we have enough content for a full book, we will run a big Kickstarter for the full book (and get some sweet stretch goals in there to make it even bigger). We are also tossing around an idea for a Setting Guide book for the Seventh Moon (which I have been slowly writing and piling together for years now one little section at a time). But more on that later once we are closer to doing those. For now, we are wrapping up this book and Ninetoes first (but I always like to look ahead, and if you are interested in any of our future stuff, this is what there is to look forward to).
